![]() I've tried calibrating, but it didn't change the behaviour. If calibrating fails to fix the problem, I can make the threshold value configurable in the next release.Īhh, now i understand the config procedure, thanks for clearing this up ( ![]() Have you tried calibrating the joystick in the control panel? I think the joystick axis values might not be reaching the threshold programmed in Mednafen when positioning the analog stick diagonally. You simply need to push the last "button" twice during the configuration(unless you reach the limit of 4 buttons, in which case it will automatically go on). ![]() Re: Bug? Diagonal movement w/ analog (0.6.1) Is this the correct way to configure the movement keys? At first, this seemed a bit strange to me, but it seemed to work. Example: for "left", the sequence i was using was: dpad-left, analog-left, dpad-left, analog-left. For every joystick direction, i first moved the dpad, then the analog stick in the respective direction, and repeated this sequence. I was using the built-in config function (F3). I might be missing something with the input config. I tested this with various games (the effect can be seen best with vertical or horizontal shooters like 1942, 1943, R-Type, etc.), on all systems. ![]() But with the analog stick, diagonal movement is not possible. With the dpad, diagonal movements are allright. I have configured both the left analog stick and the dpad as joystick. I'm using a XBox 360 gamepad with MS's drivers under XP SP2. I believe there might be a bug with the jostick code in 0.6.1 (dind't test previous versions for this). Home » Mednafen » Bugs » Bug?
